E-Liquid Questions and Answers.
Q. How many puffs could i get from a full
e-liquid tank?
This all depends on how heavy a 'puff'
is taken by the user, lighter users could
double the average figures below, and heavier
users could half the average.
The iCiggy Oval e-liquid tank holds 1.30ml of e-liquid and
you should get an average of 300 inhalations
(about 30 cigarettes worth) from a full tank
capsule before it needs refilling.
The iCiggy Mini e-liquid tank holds .50ml (Half a Millilitre)
of e-liquid and you should get an average
of 150 inhalations (about 15 cigarettes worth)
from a full tank capsule before it needs
refilling.
Q. How many puffs can i get from a 10ml bottle
of e-liquid?
A. You should get an average of around 2000
puffs (about 200 cigarettes) from a 10ml
bottle of e-liquid.
Q. Is using e-liquid cheaper than smoking
regular cigarettes?
A. The average price for a box of 20 regular
cigarettes is around £7.00 making a
single cigarette cost about 35p each. the
equivelent e-liquid used for a single cigarette
costs about 2.5p each.
Scale this back up, and e-liquid equivalent
for a box of 20 cigarettes should cost about
50p. You will also have to account for the
purchase of your initial electronic cigarette
and weekly or monthly consumables such as
atomisers and batteries etc. You will find
that only a few puffs on your iCiggy is usually
enough to give you satisfaction, so it's
difficult to compare to regular cigarettes.
Q. What is in the e-liquid ?
A. Our E-Liquid is a blend of water, tobacco
flavourings, food flavourings based on propylene glycol and a small, measured trace of nicotine
or no nicotine at all.
Q. Some e-liquid got on to my lips and in
my mouth, and it tasted very bad, what should
i do and why did it happen?.
A. The best thing to do is wash it off straight
away with water, and also wash your mouth
out with water, e-liquid dilutes and breaks
down very quickly with water, the bad taste
would be flavourings which are quite concentrated
and your lips and mouth are very sensitive
to this.
There are a few reasons why this may have
happened, the tank has been possibly overfilled,
and has leaked under the pressure when it
was pushed back into the atomiser, or the
reservoir tank has been dislodged in some
way to allow a small amount of e-liquid to
leak or you have ‘sucked’ too
hard and forced e-liquid through the atomiser
before it’s had time to heat the e-liquid.
Q. Is the e-liquid in my electronic cigarette
dangerous?
A. The main ingredient in iCiggy e-liquid is
called propylene glycol which is a considered to be a harmless product
used in many oral products including toothpaste,
mouthwash, foodstuffs and is also added to
tobacco to help to keep it moist. The tobacco
flavour is extracted from the tobacco leaf
and blended with some other natural extracts
to give a richer, smoother flavour.
Pure liquid Nicotine is an addictive poison.
Our e-liquid contains a safe, measured, very
low trace of nicotine, the highest being
2.4mg (QK24) and our lowest being 0.8mg (QK8)
all nicotine levels are carefully measured
in mg per 1000ml. (Pure Liquid Nicotine is
very expensive, and we assure you that it
is very carefully measured!)
Due to the nicotine content, E-Liquid is not to be used by pregnant or breast feeding
women or persons who are in ill health. If
you are unsure of the effects of nicotine,
please consult your doctor. Do not use if
you are allergic to any of the ingredients
contained. iCiggy is not intended as nicotine
replacement therapy.
